NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 4th February, 1998

S.O. 99(E). - In exercise of the poweros conferred by Sub-section (3) of Section 3 of Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 (29 of 1986), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Environment and Forests bearing S.O. 88 (E) dated 6th February, 1997, namely : -

In the said notification, -

(i) for the words "for a period of one year", the words "for a period of two years" shall be substituted;

(ii) for serial numbers (1) to (8) and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely :
